To build a strong basis of collaboration within and outside of Japan, Tuning Japan pursues and relies on flexible and close networking that is shown below. The Tuning Network is intended to collaborate not only with world Tuning networks; it utilizes and promotes an existing cooperation with partner universities. Moreover, it is an important part of the Tuning Network to construct and explore new ties with other networks -- institutions, academic societies and other communities--, which may differ in their purposes and functions, both at an international level and within Japan. In such a way, we aim to develop strong and detailed mechanisms for a shared, comparable and compatible Tuning model in Japan and Asia.
